Evolutionary change needs a so-called "quantum leap" – a fundamental movement with a global perspective. In respect to the case work mentioned at our cover page we assume that time is of the essence. Which essential steps are therefore necessary in order to shape a future worth living? How could this future look like?
A. The global case study – the plan of study
The current situation challenges us to accept that future changes must be viewed systemically. Everything is connected to everything else and isolated solutions do not appear to be meaningful or sustainable. Consequently we are viewing the formulation of our questions from regional, national and international perspectives as well as from the viewpoints of a wide variety of areas such as:

||
society |

|
economy |

Furthermore, we are forming multi-disciplinary teams whose mission is to explore the essential knowledge from the individual areas. Different levels of experience in lectures, workshops, caseworks, future workshops and creative processes help to recognize possibilites of change and become aware of essential learning issues. The essence of each presentation, research and creative experience flows into the global case study.
B. The Dynamic of Change – the plan of change
In order to initiate changes successfully the question arises how far a system (e.g. a company) is capable of learning and/or receptive for a learning process. Once this change potential has been recognized, it must be clarified how specific learning steps can be introduced and how hurdles to change can be overcome. The following questions arise in this respect:
What is evolutionary change?
What must be changed?
Where do we recognize points of resonance?
Which skills are necessary?
We know catastrophes as "worst case scenarios" very well. What would happen if instead we were to use our energy and our answers for a "best case scenario", not for the catastrophe but rather for the "Anastrophe"? If we go this way with consequence and dedication "change waves" build up which cause much more positive change than we expect. It is chaos research in particular which shows that minimal intervention at the right time and in the right place changes a lot and radiates out and beyond the moment. For this evolutionary change it is indispensible to understand the dynamics of change on an essential level and to transfer to daily life the recognitions thus gained.
